This extremely durable and high quality bracket is constructed out of billet steel. It installs easily and mounts to the existing shift arm on top of your transmission, reducing your shifter throws by 30%. The increased weight of 500 grams also aids in shifting momentum and positive engagement.


The adapter bracket is designed and manufactured in Boomba's manufacturing facility in the United States and all mounting hardware are included. All adapter plates are zinc plated for durability and excellent appearance. A definite mod for daily drivers as well as autocross and road racing enthusiast!

We HIGHLY recommend purchasing the shifter base bushings and transmission bracket bushings at the same time, this will ensure you only have to disassemble everything once.

All orders are packaged at our Hornsby workshop. In general, handling times are between 24-48 hours.

We primarily send orders via Australia Post. For heavier/bulkier items that cannot be sent with Australia Post, we use a courier service.

Typically shipping ETAs can be anywhere from 2-5 days from the date of shipping.  The timings are dependant on where you live and the current COVID impacts.

Cherry Tuning and Performance does not generally offer refunds, with the exception of faulty or not fit-for-purpose products. All other returns will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. If your item has not yet shipped and you have changed your mind, you will still be liable for a 10% cancellation fee to cover website fees, charges, and the time taken to process your refund. This fee can be reduced or waived at the discretion of Cherry Tuning management.

For a returned product to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new/unused, and in its original packaging

Now have the full boomba short shift kit. And torque solutions shifter bushes. Shifting is so tight, short and also precise.

Easy install, very pleased with result - well worth the small cost

I purchased the short shift adapter along with the transmission bracket bushes. Very pleased with the result, almost dont know why Hyundai doesnt do it like this out of the factory, but I guess not all buyers are the enthusiasts Cherry customers are!

The installation was very simple, it took just under an hour to remove all the bits to get to the shift cables, and refit it all (part of that time was also replacing the bushes). I think Cherry recommends getting the upgraded bushes at the same time, and I agree - Im sure it would be fine with the standard rubber bushes, but with the upgraded bushes its a nice more precise shift.

There seem to be a couple versions of instructions out there on the installation process, both seem to be a little too complicated, or involve other unessesary steps - it really is straight forwad install

If you enjoy driving, and your choice of SR/NLine (possibly N also) and manual mean you do, its a really great simple upgrade - highly recommend

Short and sweet!

Way less effort involved in each shift making shift times shorter and better! Paired with the shifter base and transmission bracket solid bushes makes for a super engaged and enjoyable drive every time!
