Product details

Planning on getting more power out of your Hyundai or Kia by installing a JB4, RaceChip, or tuning your ECU? You'll want to upgrade your spark plugs to make the most of your factory ignition system!

This new series of plugs inherits the best from the existing M series, however it now features a Ruthenium Alloy Electrode to provide a reliable spark for all vehicles, including vehicles with increased boost or tuned vehicles.

On top of extended lifetime, the use of Ruthenium alloy allows a better fuel burn, resulting in quicker throttle response, smoother idle and better cold starts (especially noticeable on the NGK9 range plugs vs. the existing M series)

The two options are:

  • NGK8 for stock, or lightly tuned engines - these are a stock-replacement upgrade for the 1.6T in the i30 and Cerato GT
  • NGK9 are for cars that are modified, tuned, or are being pushed harder than stock. Any increase of 50HP over factory generally requires a 1-heat-range colder drop in plugs. These are 1 range colder than stock for the 1.6T and 2.0T in the i30N, N-Line, and Cerato GT

Note: These plugs are only suitable for the 1.6T and 2.0T engines, they aren't suitable for the Stinger's 3.3TT
