Product details
H&R Sport Springs for the Kia Optima sedan (JF), 2016-2018. Set of four progressive-rate springs, made in Germany from shot-peened, block-set 54SiCr6 spring steel.
- Drop: about 30mm front and rear per H&R.
- No engine split in H&R's listing - it covers the 2.4 GDI and the 2.0T GT alike.
- Uses the factory dampers. Alignment required after fitting.
A sensible, mild change: less arch gap, a flatter stance and a little less roll, with ride quality close to standard. H&R's US listing stops at 2018, so the 2019-2020 facelift is not covered here. Not for the Optima Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid, and not the earlier Optima (TF, 2011-2015).
