How to get your ECU ID

We need your car's unique ECU ID to make sure the file we build is a perfect match.

To get it:

  • Connect your EK1 to your car's OBD port.
  • Turn the ignition ON, but don't start the engine.
  • Power on your EK1, go to "1. Power Mode," then select "3. Read ECU ID."
  • It's critical you select the correct protocol for your car from the list. If you're not sure, just ask us, but here's a small list of examples.
