Like most modern cars, Hyundai and Kia have turned to electronic throttle pedals for most of their cars. Electronic throttles have their ups and downs, for example, some people notice throttle lag with electronic throttles, where pressing the pedal can sometimes feel like it's not moving at the same time as you press it. Fortunately, one perk of having an electronic throttle is that it's possible to tune your pedal response, not only does this help to get rid of throttle lag, it can also completely transform the nature of your car.
This is where an electronic throttle controller comes in!
Connecting inline with your factory throttle pedal and supplied with a 1.5m long detachable cable, you can mount this controller basically anywhere within your reach from the driving position allowing you to change between any of the 5 fine-tuneable driving modes at the press of a button.
These modes are:
-
P1 - Comfort Mode
The smallest level of throttle boost - 9 levels of fine tuning -
P2 - Sports Mode
Moderate throttle boost - 9 levels of fine tuning -
P3 - Race Mode
Aggressive throttle boost - 9 levels of fine tuning -
EC - Economy Mode
Decreases the throttle input to save fuel - 9 levels of fine tuning -
NOR - Normal mode
