If you're looking to get the most out of your turbocharged car, it's common knowledge that replacing the downpipe (aka. dump pipe) is one of the first places you should look. Factory downpipes are usually made to fit within packaging and emissions constraints and are a good place to start when seeking extra power.

Our 3" Downpipe is complete with a high flow 100-cell Catyalytic Converter and O2 Sensor spacer to help avoid pesky engine lights. It bolts directly to the turbo, replacing the factory two piece downpipe and, thanks to a step-down to 2.5", will happily mate up to even a stock midpipe. If you have a 3" catback, you can also select to get a 3" outlet flange, so you can have a full 3" exhaust from the turbo-back.

As these are a new product, exact power figures are still unknown, however it's well documented that similar high-flow downpipes have show peak power increases of as much as 15HP even without a tune, and even higher if mated up with catback exhaust.

We primarily send orders via Australia Post. For heavier/bulkier items that cannot be sent with Australia Post, we use a courier service.

Typically shipping ETAs can be anywhere from 2-5 days from the date of shipping.  The timings are dependant on where you live and the current COVID impacts.

Cherry Tuning and Performance does not generally offer refunds, with the exception of faulty or not fit-for-purpose products. All other returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. If your item has not yet shipped and you have changed your mind, you will still be liable for a 10% restocking fee to cover website fees, charges, and the time taken to process your refund. This fee can be reduced or waived at the discretion of Cherry Tuning management.

For a returned product to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new/unused, and in its original packaging

Could not recommend enough!

Love the downpipe from cherry! It’s bloody awesome, gives the car such a deep exhaust note. Gives the car far more noise in the high revs range too. I love it! Thank you Zane Jon for the install! @zanes_kimchi_missile

Well worth it

Quality and fitment of this downpipe is on point. Install is really not too difficult only taking about 2.5 hours on the driveway. Bolts can be accessed in a combination from underneath and from the top by removing the intake and hot pipe off the turbo side for easier access. I paired up the 3" downpipe with the Xforce exhaust and it has completely changed the tone of the exhaust under load it is now much more agressive and shifts are much lounder. A performance increase is defintely noticible and turbo whistle can now be heard through the exhaust. Althought expensive this part is definetly a worthwhile upgrade.

3 inch downpipe on i30 nline

Quality product and no fitment issues. I've paired this 3in downpipe with a 3in xforce varex cat back along with various supporting engine mods and Racechip RS. Definitely feels more punchy off the line and better top end, feels more effortless on the hwy when cruising and the fuel efficiency has also improved which is a bonus. Sound wise it is definitely a lot louder than before with just the xforce and you can hear more grumbling at lower rpm so I am glad I got the varex to keep the noise down when I am driving out of the car port or with family.
I did the install by myself (a novice) in my driveway with only handtools and although this is definitely the hardest thing I've done out of all the mods so far, it is definitely doable by yourself from underneath on jack stands.
I do recommend getting a can of WD40 with EZ reach nozzle so you can reach and soak the 3 nuts before you attempt to crack them, it made it a lot easier to remove these nuts and avoided snapping the stud which I was scared of.
Also helps to remove the intercooler piping and intake piping to give you a bit more access both top and bottom, potentially the lower engine mount could be taken off as well if you can be bothered torquing it back up.

I do wish it came with some kind of instruction (even a blog post or a video!) as I was not familiar with the type of nut it came with (was not sure which side goes in first so took an educated guess) or if it needs to be torqued down etc... but overall definitely recommend, great products as always!

2.5 Inch Downpipe for Cerato GT.

This downpipe bolts up to the stock midpipe, and goes well with the 2.5 inch axle back sports exhaust that I fitted to the car. The Cherry downpipe is at least 2.3 Kg lighter than the stock downpipe/primary cat assembly, so there is a weight saving. There is a significant improvement in performance, and on a 13.3 Km suburban route that I use to test the car, I was able to achieve a 15.8 % improvement in fuel economy ( results may vary depending on driving conditions, additional mods, tuning, fuel quality etc.) The downpipe is well made, and I would recommend this product if you are looking to improve performance, fuel efficiency, and even the exhaust note.

Veloster Downpipe.

Well made, fast delivery, currently bolted up to MBRP 2.5” SS exhaust, (Not Tuned Yet) noticeable power gains throughout rev range. If fitting yourself be prepared to replace bolts and studs on turbo side, these are a bastard to get out. Overall very happy, can’t wait to get it tuned to gain the extra benefits.
