If you're looking to get the most out of your turbocharged car, it's common knowledge that replacing the downpipe (aka. dump pipe) is one of the first places you should look. Factory downpipes are usually made to fit within packaging and emissions constraints and are a good place to start when seeking extra power.
Our 3" Downpipe is complete with a high flow 100-cell Catyalytic Converter and O2 Sensor spacer to help avoid pesky engine lights (note: we don't guarantee that you won't get any codes from this downpipe. If you get a code, please tell us and we can guide you on the best way to handle it). It bolts directly to the turbo, replacing the factory two piece downpipe and, thanks to a step-down to 2.5", will happily mate up to even a stock midpipe. If you have a 3" catback (like xForce), you can also select to get a 3" outlet flange, so you can have a full 3" exhaust from the turbo-back.
It's well documented that similar high-flow downpipes have show peak power increases of as much as 10-15HP even without a tune, and even higher if mated up with catback exhaust or with a tune!
Note regarding xForce cat-back systems: The front flange on the xForce system is angled to one side. This pulls the downpipe to one side and creates pressure on the flex joint. While this is annoying and makes installation slightly more tedious, we haven't found it to affect the functionality of the exhaust at all.

This fit up better than my exhust did. But an improvement found be around the flange area for mounding small indents around the bolting up area would make it alot easier too bolt up. I struggled with the top bolt because the area was too tight even with tye sub frame dropped
I installed this 3 days ago, and let me tell you its not easy if you one man alone, lol but in the end i have managed to take out the CAT and installed the Cherry 3inch DP and it was slightly easier putting it in then taking out ha ha.
The car coupled with the Xforce catback sounds rowdy, and i think it will sound a little deeper once the carbon starts going through.
Overall great quality DP went with the 3inch cause why not, and still waiting for my stg2 map which will transform this into some good usable power.
Car sounds so much more rowdy now recommend if you have 3inch cat back exhaust get 3inch down pipe either catted or not sounds amazing either way
2018 hyundai elantra gt sport (i30 sr)
Recently just got this downpipe from cherry with the 100 cell and 3 in flange and it sounds and feels amazing, the car accelerate much quicker and faster, the tone of the car didn't change much expect being a little bit more louder but while driving the car, you could definitely hear the difference. I paired this up with my xforce exhaust and did seem to have an issue with it meeting up correctly but other than that, it fit perfectly with the car, I would definitely invest in this to make more power

I spent some $$ on a GReddy exhaust from the USA and paired the two up together. Unbelievable note to the exhaust. Cherry have hit it out of the park, with this part.
