The commitment to performance starts with the materials and continues through the precise manufacturing process.

The EBC USR (Ultimax Slotted Rotor) features a heavily canted groove profile. This design provides all the de-gassing and debris evacuation benefits associated with a grooved brake rotor but with a slightly reduced initial ‘bite’ during brake application for a much smoother braking action.

The shallow angle of the grooves is the key to minimizing brake rotor noise, making USR brake rotors a popular choice among owners of prestige vehicles and enthusiasts who seek performance without excessive NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness).

This design is also well-suited to off-road use, where the straight-cut grooves allow for the effective evacuation of sand, dirt, and water present at the braking zone. Off-road users report significantly longer pad life and less rotor ribbing compared to plain or cross-drilled rotors.

High-Carbon Alloy Construction

Like all EBC one-piece rotors, the USR series is cast using premium high-carbon G3000 alloy. This high-quality metallurgy provides:

  • Superior resistance to warping and cracking, ensuring robustness even when driven hard.

Precision Machining and Certification

Every EBC rotor is finished using a sophisticated twin-turning process to guarantee virtually perfect parallelism.

  • This precision machining minimizes the potential for Rotor Thickness Variation (RTV), the primary cause of unsettling brake judder (vibration) on the vehicle.

  • EBC's outstanding quality is recognized globally: they are one of the few aftermarket rotor manufacturers with both TÜV and R90 approvals, confirming compliance with stringent international standards and ensuring ADR compliance for legal road use in Australia.

Maximum Corrosion Protection

Each finished rotor receives a robust double-layer protective coating for extended service life:

  • A base Geomet® coating provides comprehensive protection against corrosion on all surfaces.

  • An additional advanced black anti-corrosion spray is applied to the visible, non-contact areas to aggressively ward off unsightly rust long after installation.

Shipping & Returns

All orders are packaged at our Hornsby workshop. In general, handling times are between 24-48 hours.

We primarily send orders via Australia Post. For heavier/bulkier items that cannot be sent with Australia Post, we use a courier service.

Typically shipping ETAs can be anywhere from 2-5 days from the date of shipping.  The timings are dependant on where you live and the current COVID impacts.

Cherry Tuning and Performance does not generally offer refunds, with the exception of faulty or not fit-for-purpose products. All other returns will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. If your item has not yet shipped and you have changed your mind, you will still be liable for a 10% cancellation fee to cover website fees, charges, and the time taken to process your refund. This fee can be reduced or waived at the discretion of Cherry Tuning management.

For a returned product to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new/unused, and in its original packaging
