This bench cable is for use when connecting your EK1 device (EK1Mini2 or EK1PRO) directly to the TCU. It is designed to work with the TAD801 TCUs as seen in these cars:

  • i30N Hatch (PDeN)
  • i30 Sedan N (CN7N)
  • Elantra N (CN7N)
  • Veloster N (JSN)
  • Kona N (OSN)

Why would you want/need to connect directly to your TCU? Currently this is the only way to be able to offer remote tuning for the DCT 8-speed gearbox.

Note: you cannot use this with an EK1 Lite, and it requires the (paid) Android app to work, this does not work for iPhone at this time.

Shipping & Returns

All orders are packaged at our Hornsby workshop. In general, handling times are between 24-48 hours.

We primarily send orders via Australia Post. For heavier/bulkier items that cannot be sent with Australia Post, we use a courier service.

Typically shipping ETAs can be anywhere from 2-5 days from the date of shipping.  The timings are dependant on where you live and the current COVID impacts.

Cherry Tuning and Performance does not generally offer refunds, with the exception of faulty or not fit-for-purpose products. All other returns will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. If your item has not yet shipped and you have changed your mind, you will still be liable for a 10% cancellation fee to cover website fees, charges, and the time taken to process your refund. This fee can be reduced or waived at the discretion of Cherry Tuning management.

For a returned product to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new/unused, and in its original packaging
