EBC Premium OE Replacement Brake Rotors GEN 3
EBC Brakes are quickly switching to its latest Gen 3 silver grey disc rotors. All disc rotor materials and drill or slot patterns will remain the same except the base rotor will be Silver Grey. This new surface coating is a highly corrosion-resistant rust prevention coating and is now on all current production of EBC Brake rotors.
EBC GD Series sport rotors are 100% machined in the U.K. from R90-approved blanks, with the majority cast in the EU. They are a superb solution for fast street cars and 4x4s.
Now in their third generation, the rotors feature silver corrosion protection. The GD wide aperture slots help maintain even pad wear, run cooler, and expel dirt, mud, water, and dust from the braking area.
EBC USR Slotted Brake Rotors
The USR, or Ultimax Slotted Rotor range, is our premium, silent street range designed for fast street use. It is made using the highest quality R90-approved G3000 grey iron rotor blanks.
Manufactured using premium disc blanks mentioned above, the narrower multi slot design of the Ultimax sport rotor and the progressive angle at which the slots are machined creates a quiet running sport rotor that still has benefits of removing gas, dirt, water and debris and maintaining parallel pad wear.
EBC have always been honest enough to say that the biggest advantage of slotted rotors is the fact that they promote flat and parallel pad wear rather than allowing ridges to develop on pads and rotors which is typical of “drilled only” sport rotors. By preventing these ridges brakes stay more consistent throughout pad and rotor wear life (simple physics!).
