Note: we have updated our design to include a bracket to the top of the engine, this is for people who wish to use a pod filter, as it will hold the intake in place instead of having it sit on top of the airbox.

Looking for a cost effective way to get some more flow and turbo noise?

Or perhaps you looking for a bump in power but don't want to have an exposed filter in the engine bay? Or perhaps you're looking for something with a "stock-like" aesthetic?

Then these options here are perfect for you, these pipes are made such that you can replace your intake pipe but still retain your factory airbox. They can be easily coupled with an upgraded K&N Intake filter (more info below), allowing you to gain most of the of the flow of an aftermarket intake, while still keeping intake and turbo noise under control.

Alternatively, remove the lid off your airbox and run an exposed pod, giving you the maximum possible turbo noise.

Add on K&N Filters

We have three K&N filter options available to add on with our 1.6T intake pipe.  Please read the info below to select the best option for your car:

  • K&N Pod Filter: This filter suits all 1.6T car models.
  • K&N Panel Filter Type A: Suits the following models:
    • Kia Cerato BD (Incl. GT)
    • Hyundai i30 PD (Incl. SR and N-Line)
    • Elantra AD (Incl. Sport)
  • K&N Panel Filter Type B: Suits the following models:
    • 2012-17 Hyundai Accent
    • 2011-17 Hyundai Veloster (inc. Turbo)
    • 2011-17 Kia Rio
    • 2014-19 Kia Soul

Shipping & Returns

All orders are packaged at our Hornsby workshop. In general, handling times are between 24-48 hours.

We primarily send orders via Australia Post. For heavier/bulkier items that cannot be sent with Australia Post, we use a courier service.

Typically shipping ETAs can be anywhere from 2-5 days from the date of shipping.  The timings are dependant on where you live and the current COVID impacts.

Cherry Tuning and Performance does not generally offer refunds, with the exception of faulty or not fit-for-purpose products. All other returns will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. If your item has not yet shipped and you have changed your mind, you will still be liable for a 10% cancellation fee to cover website fees, charges, and the time taken to process your refund. This fee can be reduced or waived at the discretion of Cherry Tuning management.

For a returned product to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new/unused, and in its original packaging

Quality part except..

The fitting for the Crank Case Vent tube is too thin so the existing tube will just slide off of it. A quick fix is to cut the tube back about an inch or so where the stock tube is actually thinner - it'll then fit in pretty much just as tight as the stock pipe did. The rest of it including the clamps and silicon joiner are of high quality

Haven't test driven it properly so will report back if I encounter other issues. Otherwise assume I'm loving it!

Absolute Solid Upgrade

Can’t recommend the Intake enough. Paired with a Big Mouth, the gains (at least in my case) for my 5 month old N-Line feel substantial, although I also did add a midpipe at the same time. Overall 10/10. Looks beautiful in raw aluminium. As always, CTP coming through with the goods. Cheers George & Team!

Fantastic upgrade

Got this for MY14 Kia Proceed GT. The pipe came in post at the earliest ETA. The pipe and clamps are very high quality, although there was a slight flat edged dent to the end of the pipe, which was easily rolled out with a timber hammer handle. This pipe is significantly lighter than the stock plastic pipe too. "Weight reduction yo!". I have the intercooler res delete and k&n panel filter and can definitely hear the sound difference. More turbo whistle and induction sound in general. Can even hear the whistle a little bit with the windows up and air con on. Acceleration is more responsive and the turbo boosts up a bit faster, so I must say this is an upgrade worth getting. Especially if you're on your Ps like me and can't get an aftermarket cold air intake. This pipe looks wayyy better than the stock pipe in the engine bay too.

Great alternative to cold air intake

If you’re wanting more air flow and turbo noise without spending heaps on a cold air intake, this is a great alternative when paired with a K&N panel filter. Really high quality part and easy to install. Couldn’t be happier with CTP!
