Looking to replace or upgrade your turbocharger on your Gamma powered Hyundai or Kia? Your search is over!

Turbo Options Explained

Early 1.6T Engines

This is for owners of the earlier turbo Gamma engine cars, these cars all came from the factory with a larger turbocharger. For these cars we offer a high-flow service for your turbo, or you can purchase a new turbocharger, which we will high-flow for you.

This option is only applicable for the following cars:

  • Kia Cerato Koup Turbo
  • Kia ProCeed
  • Hyundai Veloster Turbo (FS)
Mid 1.6T Engines

This is for owners of the Hyundai i30 or Elantra turbo. These cars came with a smaller turbocharger from factory, so we don't offer a high-flow service for your turbos. Instead, we suggest that you buy a replacement turbocharger (either high-flow or not) with the adaptor parts required to make it work on your model. The non-high flow option is essentially the same as installing a new FS Veloster turbo on your car, which will hold better boost, and is a good cost effective upgrade if you just want a moderate bump in power.

This option is only applicable for the following cars:

  • PD i30 SR and N-Line
  • Elantra Turbo
Late 1.6T Engines

This option is for owners of the higher compression updated Gamma, these cars came with a 10:1 compression engine and a larger turbocharger with an electronic wastegate. You cannot use the FS Veloster turbo on your cars, so instead we offer a high-flow service for your turbocharger, or else you can purchase a new turbocharger.

This option is only applicable for the following cars:

  • Kia Cerato GT
  • Hyundai Veloster Turbo (JS)

We offer a bolt-on brand new, factory genuine, stock replacement upgrade for the i30 and Elantra, this comes with all the parts required to bolt the larger genuine K03 turbo on. This includes oil lines, coolant lines, gaskets, intake pipe, and others. These turbo are good for an extra 3-4psi at redline and will happily make an extra 15kw for the i30/Elantra.

Alternatively, if you're looking to go to "stage 3" and really want to squeeze the most out of your car without having to install a completely custom manifold/downpipe setup, or if you already have a car with the larger K03 (Veloster, Koup, Ceed) then we also offer a high-flow version where we have both the turbine and compressor housing machined and larger wheels installed in both sides of the turbo, we also replace the turbo core with a ball-bearing G25-type core and supply the turbo with oil and water lines to suit.

Power gains with supporting mods and an appropriate tune are up to 80kW above stock or 25-30kW above a full-bolt-on (FBO) stage 2 car.

We do offer a high-flow only service, however we don't offer this for anything that comes with the smaller K03 turbo, as we don't feel there is any point. Your money is better spent just replacing your turbocharger with the larger K03 that we're listing here. If, however, you have a Veloster, Cerato, or ProCeed, you can send your turbo to us to be high-flowed. Additionally, we offer a buyback for only these larger K03 turbos. Unfortunately the little i30/Elantra turbos aren't particularly useful to us.

Note: that the high-flow process can take as long as 6-8 weeks, though we generally try to turn them around in 3-4 weeks.
