Melbourne Dyno Days 2026

Cherry Tuning is heading back to Melbourne for our annual dyno tuning trip, working out of Prestige Performance MotorSports in Lynbrook. Choose what you're booking below - a custom dyno power tune, an option tune (pops, ghost cam, code deletes), a gearbox tune for the 7-speed DCT, 8-speed DCT, 6-speed auto or Kia Stinger 8-speed auto, or a pre-written (staged) tune - and the calendar shows the times still free. Slots are limited - first paid, first served.

Not sure what to book? Read how we tune, see the tune options available or read more about gearbox tuning.

What are you booking?

Adding to the cart doesn't hold the slot - it's yours once you check out and pay.

Before you book

Good to know

Can I get a refund if I can't make it?

No - booking payments (power-tune deposits, pre-purchase payments and paid-in-full option, gearbox and pre-written tunes) are non-refundable. Travelling to Victoria and hiring dyno time is a big cost for us, so every slot has to be covered.

You can transfer your slot. If you can't make it, you're welcome to pass (or sell) your slot to someone else - just let us know before the day with the new owner's name, contact details and car, so we're ready for them.

What condition does my car need to be in?

By booking a slot you agree the car will arrive:

  • With servicing up to date
  • With no known mechanical issues
  • With no oil leaks
  • With no check engine lights (unless you've told us ahead of time)
  • With a full tank of the fuel you want it tuned on
  • With Cherry Tuning aware of any known issues
I want a gearbox tune and a power tune

Choose Power and Gearbox Tune at the top of the calendar. It books the power-tune slot and the option slot at the same drop-off time, and the gearbox tune drops from $650 to $500 automatically in your cart. If a time shows No option slot available, the power slot is free but the option slot at that time is taken - pick another time.

Want to know what a gearbox tune changes? Read more about gearbox tuning.

Which cars can you tune?

All Hyundai and Kia models with some exceptions, plus the Ford Focus and Fiesta.

If your car has a Smartstream engine larger than 2 litres, its ECU is likely still locked and we can't tune it. All 1.0, 1.6 and 2.0 Smartstream engines can be tuned.

Some Hyundai/Kia models and all Focus and Fiesta models need us to access the ECU on a day before your tune - please enter your car model and year correctly when you book, and we'll contact you if we need to see the car beforehand.

Will more days open?

No. Week 1 (Monday 2 to Friday 6 November) is fully booked, and Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 November are the last two days of this year's trip. Once those slots are gone, the trip is fully booked.
