If you’re looking to push the limits of your i30N and chase top power gains, you’ll need a way to manage rising oil temperatures caused by increased power and speed. With proven results in significantly reduced oil temperatures, Forge Motorsport’s Oil Cooler kit for the Hyundai i30N is a must have product for every keen driver.
As rising oil temperatures result in a reduction of sufficient lubrication of your engine’s internal components, Forge Motorsports have used the knowledge gained from their direct involvement within the BTCC and Mini Challenge race series, to engineer this Oil Cooler Kit for the i30N.
The location of Oil Cooler radiator at the front of the Hyundai i30N’s radiator grill, allows for superior air flow, while its inlet and outlets are placed in the best position for optimum flow. Unlike other oil cooler kits, this kit keeps the factory oil to water cooler in position, doubling your engine’s cooling. The product has also been created with a bespoke laser cut aluminium bracket that fits perfectly to the i30N crash bar.
To ensure the engine is working at its most efficient oil temperature range no matter how hard you push the vehicle, Forge have built a thermostat into the oil cooler sandwich plate, which has been set to open at 85C – the optimal working temperature of the oil cooler.
