If you're looking to make a bit of extra power and get some more induction noise from your 1.6T, there are already several options available. None of them, however, have a cover for the filter. That's where this new AEM intake comes in!

Just released, like all AEM Performance Cold Air Intake Systems, this intake produces dyno proven horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. Air enters the system through an over sized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield and filter cover, which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower.

The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminium featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions).

The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools and it is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty.

All orders are packaged at our Hornsby workshop. In general, handling times are between 24-48 hours.

We primarily send orders via Australia Post. For heavier/bulkier items that cannot be sent with Australia Post, we use a courier service.

Typically shipping ETAs can be anywhere from 2-5 days from the date of shipping.  The timings are dependant on where you live and the current COVID impacts.

Cherry Tuning and Performance does not generally offer refunds, with the exception of faulty or not fit-for-purpose products. All other returns will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. If your item has not yet shipped and you have changed your mind, you will still be liable for a 10% cancellation fee to cover website fees, charges, and the time taken to process your refund. This fee can be reduced or waived at the discretion of Cherry Tuning management.

For a returned product to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new/unused, and in its original packaging

i30 N-Line 2023 hatch. The best

I installed it along with the dual port GFB BOV and together they are perfect. The induction noise when i accelerate and rev is beautiful. It is quite loud and can be heard in the cabin easily. Install took me about 2 hours, the majority of this being removing the stock intake.

Excellent upgrade

This is a brilliant and must-have upgrade if you're looking for a smidge more power and a bit more induction noise. The install was very easy, just took a bit of time with the bits you had to cut yourself, but otherwise was very simple and only took an hour or so.
The end build quality looks brilliant and is a very nice touch to the engine bay and induction noises
