Product details
A bolt-on rear section for the Cerato GT. It replaces the factory rear muffler with a 2.5in dual split rear exit and quad tips — nothing forward of the axle is touched, so it goes on in an afternoon and comes off just as easily.
On the 1.6 turbo an axle-back is the sensible first step: the rear muffler is doing most of the silencing, it is the cheapest part of the system to change, and you keep the factory cat and mid-pipe.
Which material?
Aluminised with stainless tips is the value option. T304 stainless with quad carbon tips costs more and lasts longer.
Fitment
Kia Cerato GT (BD), 1.6L turbo. MBRP list this as the “Forte GT” — that is the same car under its US name.
