Product details
Four progressive-rate lowering springs for the European-built third-generation i30 hatch. They drop it about 30mm at the front and 35mm at the rear. Cold-coiled chrome-silicon wire, made to run on the factory dampers, with AST's lifetime warranty against breakage.
- One set per engine: rates are matched to engine weight
- Lowering: approx. 30mm front / 35mm rear
- 5-door hatch, 11/2016 on
What it changes: lower centre of gravity, less body roll, a smaller arch gap. Budget for a wheel alignment.
Fits: European-built i30 hatch (PDe) with the 1.0 T-GDi, 1.4 MPi, 1.4 T-GDi, 1.5 T-GDi or 1.6 CRDi. In Australia that is the Czech-built 2024-on i30 N Line 1.5T. AST does not list the Korean-built 2017-2023 Australian i30 (2.0, SR / N Line 1.6T, diesel), the US Elantra GT, the Tourer wagon, the Fastback or the i30 N.
