Melbourne Dyno Days 2026 - Booking

Cherry Tuning is heading back to Melbourne for our annual dyno tuning trip, from Monday 2 November 2026. Book your slot on the Melbourne Dyno Days page.

Each day has two power-tune slots (9am and 1pm drop-off, about 4 hours each) and two option slots. Monday to Wednesday open first; Thursday and Friday open once those days are full, and more days follow if those fill too.

Custom Dyno Tuning

Custom dyno tuning is $1490. To secure your spot, choose a day and time and pay the $745 deposit. The balance is due after the car is tuned and ready for collection.

Option Tunes and Gearbox Tunes

Pops, ghost cam and code deletes, and gearbox (TCU) tunes for the 7-speed DCT, 8-speed DCT and 6-speed automatic, are booked in an option slot and paid in full when you book. If you want a gearbox tune and a power tune, book one power slot and one option slot.

We can provide tuning services for:

• All Hyundai and Kia with some exceptions*
• Ford Focus and Fiesta models*

* If your car has a Smartstream engine larger than 2 litres, it's likely that your ECU is still locked and we aren't able to tune your car. For all 1.0, 1.6 and 2.0 Smartstream engines, tuning is available. Some Hyundai/Kia and all Ford Focus and Fiesta models need us to access your ECU on a day before your tuning appointment, so please make sure your Car Model & Year is filled out correctly when you book. We will be in contact if we need to see your car ahead of time.

We will send you a tune booking form a couple of weeks before your tune, where you will need to provide information about your car, its modifications and the tune customisations you would like.

By booking a tuning slot, you are agreeing that the car will arrive to us in the following condition:

• Servicing Is Up-To-Date
• No Known Mechanical Issues
• No Oil Leaks
• No Check Engine Lights (unless Cherry Tuning is notified ahead of time)
• Full tank of chosen fuel for tuning
• Cherry Tuning is Aware of Any Known Issues

Note: All booking payments are non-refundable - travelling down to Victoria and renting the dyno time comes at significant cost to Cherry Tuning. If you are unable to make it for your spot, you're welcome to pass (or sell) your spot on to another person - please let us know before the day so we have their details.
