Product details
A bolt-on rear section for the Palisade 3.8 V6. It swaps the factory rear muffler for Borla’s S-Type unit in T-304 stainless — nothing forward of the axle is touched, and it comes off again in an afternoon.
S-Type is Borla’s middle sound level. On a large family V6 that is the right call: noticeably fuller when you ask for it, and completely civil on the school run. If you want a Palisade that sounds like it has the engine it actually has, this is the part.
Which one do I need?
The 2020-2022 and 2023 systems are different and are not interchangeable — check your build date, or ask us and we will confirm it.
Fitment
Hyundai Palisade (LX2), 3.8L V6. Borla list the same part for the Kia Telluride, which Australia does not get.
This is a US-market part for a car we do get. We have not personally fitted one to an Australian-delivered Palisade — if you are first, we will look after you.
