Stage-2 is the bigger of aFe's two Takeda systems for the 1.6 turbo: the sealed airbox plus a full replacement intake tube from the filter through to the turbo inlet, not just the box.
- Sealed rotomoulded housing with the factory cold-air feed retained
- Choice of Pro 5R oiled cotton or Pro DRY S dry synthetic media
- Smooth large-radius intake tube replacing the corrugated factory hose
Replacing the standard flexible inlet is where the gain actually comes from on this engine - it is the tightest part of the tract. Expect a real but small increase standard, more on a tuned car, and a noticeably louder turbo. Fits the 2017-2019 1.6T car only, not the 2.0 Elantra.
