Tuning Portal Credits

Credits are how you pay for tunes on the Cherry Tuned portal. Use them on pre-written (off-the-shelf) tunes from our catalogue, fully custom tune requests, revisions to an existing tune, and re-downloads of files you've previously bought. Files are delivered through your physical EK1 device, bound to your device serial + VIN.

How it works

1. Sign up at www.cherrytuned.com (free) and verify your email.
2. Register your EK1 device in Account Settings - device serial + last digits of your VIN. Required before any download.
3. Buy credits here - they're automatically added to your portal account, no codes to redeem. Use the same email as your portal account.
4. Spend credits in the portal on a pre-written tune, a custom tune request, or a revision.
5. Download your file - bound to your device + vehicle, ready to flash. First download free, additional downloads of the same file cost 1 credit.

All comms - log file uploads, revision requests, questions - happen via in-portal support tickets. Custom tune orders auto-create a ticket so you can chat directly with the tuner.

Buying in bulk?

Credits get cheaper the more you buy. We've set the variants up so the per-credit price drops as the pack size grows - useful if you're buying a custom tune (which typically needs multiple revisions, each costing credits) or if you're a workshop / partner buying for several customers.

How many credits do I need?

Use the calculator below to estimate the credit cost of a custom tune request before you buy. OTS (pre-written) tunes and retunes have a fixed credit cost shown in the portal catalogue.

What can I use credits on?

• Pre-written tunes (also called off-the-shelf / OTS) - our well-tested CTxxx files developed in-house. Each is a single fixed credit cost - pick one for your car from the portal catalogue and download instantly.
• Custom tune requests - fully bespoke to your car, mods, and goals. Priced as a base cost plus each option you select (aggression level, pop tune level, pop length, additional tuning options). You'll see the total before submitting.
• Tune revisions - refining a tune we've already built for you, based on log files, new mods, or changed goals. Submitted as a follow-up against your existing tune.
• Re-downloads - your first download of any file is free; further downloads of the same file cost 1 credit. Handy if you lose the file or swap microSD cards.

The exact credit cost for each option is shown in the portal at the time of purchase, so you always know exactly what you're spending.
