The sway bar has made a significant improvement to the handling of the car. I did install it on the firmer setting and although it’s make a great improvement, I wish I bought the 24mm sway bar. Highly recommend either the 22 or 24mm.
I fitted a 22 mm bar to a N-Line and it definitely gave me the result I wanted. Much better on turn in at only moderate speeds , it really does change the feel of the car. Great quick delivery from Cherry Tuning as well.
Installing this upgrade was a little easier than expected, which is good. The tools I needed for the install were: Metric socket set, 17mm ring spanner, 3mm Allen key, and a set of car ramps. This upgrade has made a significant improvement to handling, road holding, steering precision, and safety. There does not seem to be any additional NVH when compared to the factory swaybar, instead it feels like it has improved ride quality. Roundabouts, winding roads, and corners can be taken with greater ease and confidence, and it helped the car feel more planted, even on a dirt road. The price for this item was good, and at $310 plus postage costs, it still worked out cheaper than the manufacturers RRP of $360, so well done Tristan, keep up the good work.
The ingenuity of Whiteline's products stand out. Inclusions such as the lateral locks and grease free bushings make life easy and help utilise the full potential of the sway bar. The fit and finish is great, you can definitely notice a difference in handling. The car feels a lot more planted around corners with increased grip and reduced body roll. No noise from the bar either which is another bonus (using the stock bar links)... would definitely recommend!
My cerato GT really kicked up its handling with this rear sway bar. The body roll in the rear is significantly gone and the car now wants to pitch itself onto the inside front wheel. Great purchase.
