Hyundai i30 Sedan N (CN7) CT500 Stage 1 package - Cherry Tuning

The CT500 is Stage 1 for the i30 Sedan N. It's a catted Cherry downpipe made for the CN7, colder HKS plugs, a GFB blow-off valve, a Whiteline pitch-mount bush and a secondary O2 patch loom, finished with our CT500 tune. The Sedan N responds well to a tune: octane learning holds it back from the factory.

Fitted and tuned at our Clyde NSW workshop. Packages aren't shipped.

What's in the CT500

Fitting and tune

About 5 hours of workshop fitting is included in the price. Our CT500 pre-written tune is included. We load it in the workshop and road-test the car before it goes home. Want pops, ghost cam, idle changes and the like? Add tune options in the builder (+$250). Want it built on the dyno around your exact car, with a dyno sheet to show for it? Choose a custom dyno tune (+$750).

Dyno results

Car Stock CT500 Gain
i30 Sedan N 195 kW / 378 Nm 260 kW / 491 Nm +65 kW / +115 Nm

Power and torque are averaged flywheel figures from our own dyno sheets, collected over several years of tuning these cars. Treat them as a guide, not a promise: fuel, condition, gearbox and how hard you want the tune all move the result.

Octane learning keeps the Sedan N down on power until it's tuned. Our stock figures come from cars that hadn't learned down yet, so a learned car starts lower still and gains more.

Price

$2,990 fitted and tuned, with the pre-written tune.

Labour is included. Already have one of the parts? Untick it in the builder and the part and its fitting come off, and you keep the package discount on the rest.

Build it your way

Swap the BOV for a GFB Hybrid Dual-Port, Respons or Deceptor Pro II, untick parts you already own, or step the tune up to options or a custom dyno tune.

Good to know

  • Each stage builds on the one before it, so the car stays reliable as the power climbs.
  • On DCT cars the gearbox limits how much torque the engine is allowed to make, so peak torque can sit below these averages. A gearbox tune can be done at the same visit: see our TCU tune.

Next step: CT550 (Stage 2). See every stage and car on our stage packages page.

Parts are supplied for off-road/competition use only. Check your local regulations before fitting parts for road use. Dyno figures are averages, not guarantees.
